All rooms have private entrances with secure off-street parking.  @ 47 Guest House is six kilometres from the airport.  All rooms are equipped for self catering.

@ 47 Guest House is conveniently situated close to clean beaches (Hobie Beach 1 km), various restaurants, the McArthur Baths, the Boardwalk Casino and Entertainment Centre (900 metres), shops, restaurants, Bay World Oceanarium, Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University and Humewood Golf Club.

Our accommodation

There are four private rooms, each one themed after a place where the owner has lived and worked.  All rooms have DSTV and desks for businessmen.

• Oban (Scotland) has twin beds and en-suite shower bathroom and sleeps 2.

• Taxco (Mexico) has a double bed, shower and bath and sleeps 2 adults and 2 small children.

• York (England) has twin beds and a shower and sleeps 2.

• Venice (Italy) has a Queen-sized bed and shower and sleeps 2.

• Each kitchen is equipped with a microwave oven, bar fridge, kettle, toaster, crockery and cutlery for self-catering.  For those who prefer to eat out, Summerstrand has a large variety of restaurants.

• Bedding is Percale linen and rooms are serviced daily.

• Guests are welcome to use the large pool and the braai/barbecue facilities.

Guests are requested to check in before 19:00; late arrivals by special arrangement.

Cancellation policy

In the event of premature departure we charge for the full original booking. Cancellation 0-14 days before date of arrival, or no show - visitor forfeits 100% of deposit paid. Cancellation 15 -28 days before date of arrival - visitor forfeits 75% of deposit paid. Cancellation 29+ days before date of arrival - visitor forfeits 50% of deposit paid.
